The above poem is how I base my life. I want my life to be impactful. It is what led me to working in the healthcare field and ultimately what led me to want to pursue teaching. My best days are when my students tell me how much they've learned and enjoyed being in my class. My life's mission is to spread joy and I love that teaching enables me to do that.

Outside of class, I love working on research that makes the world a better place. I choose topics that will benefit people whether on the firm or the consumer side.  I am also a lover of karaoke, travel (36 countries and counting), and going on reading deep dives on random topics. My favorite fun fact is that I have appeared on the Fox Network show Name That Tune! That's right I have met Randy Jackson and Jane Krakowski (great people!). See a little clip below.
